Pheasant Season
Originally set in County Cavan and County Monaghan, Pheasant Season is an exploration of countryside life during the autumn months. Rooted in a deep appreciation for the rhythms of rural tradition, it documents landscape, lifestyle, and people, particularly within the customs of hunting and working closely with animals.
Shot annually each autumn, Pheasant Season is both a celebration of the place I grew up in and a tribute to the enduring connection between land, memory, and identity. As a long-term project, it will grow with the passing years. I hope to continue photographing the evolving details of a familiar world that always inspires me.
