Donna & Larry
Time is constantly moving; there is nothing anyone can do to stop it. I have lived with my parents for the entirety of my life, and our routines have changed. We no longer spend every Sunday at the dinner table, and they no longer drive me everywhere I need to go. I am no longer dependent on them. We are still a family, but our time together, all living under one roof, is limited.
This project explores the emotional complexity of growing up and the inevitable transformation of my family dynamics. It is a deeply personal reflection on the relationship my parents share, and the shared domestic space that has shaped us. The project captures the strength and unity of two people who built a life rooted in mutual support and unwavering love. At its core, my project is a love letter to home and to the people who make it so.
How lucky I am to know, wherever I am in the world, I will always be able to come home to Donna and Larry.
